An Ophthalmologist is a physician (M.D. or D.O.) who is licensed to practice medicine and surgery, and specializes in all aspects of eye and vision care.  In diagnosis and treatment, the ophthalmolologist prescribes medicines, glasses, contact lenses and performs surgery.    All of our physicians are board certified eye surgeons.
